Say Anything

Katie Arabella Ward

I like to write self motivating things like this:

Blank, a parchment without life, No words or poetry, no essence of adventure. Just pure White parchment. Look closer and you see scribbles of a past full of beauty and youth. Of chance and risk. Of spark which faded not so long ago, but long enough to never ignite in the same fashion. Youth has gone. The words are not lost, they are stolen. You plucked every letter from the page and discarded them to feed your own hate and upset with yourself. I may never get those letters back, but I sure as hell can rewrite them more beautifully and perfectly than before. Practise makes perfect right?

The most life changing weekend of all time - I’m moving to LA.

What an absolutely insane few days…

Wednesday I had a photoshoot in London, Thursday I had work till 7 then went straight up to Camden Underworld to see Crossfaith and Of Mice and Men as my  boyfriend is tour managing Crossfaith - if you like metal, and you haven’t checked them out, then do so. Their drummer is the best I’ve ever seen live and their songs are killer! Not only that but they’re the loveliest people in the world. They’re Japanese so communication isn’t the easiest but I’ve never met such respectful and polite people.

After the show, we went up to Sanctum for the Raw Power party, basically a load of industry and drunken Crossfaith jumping in the hot tub.

Whilst at the party the biggest news occurred. Adam is going to be essentially running the Asian sector of Raw Power with Crossfaiths manager….from LA.

I stayed on for another day and went up to Reading with Adam and the band, the show was amazing and I got to spend a lot of time with my future housemates.

Thus this weekend,I have got confirmation that I am moving to LA within the next 10 months. Me, little Katie from Bishops Stortford, Barmaid and ambitious Makeup Artist is moving to Los Angeles where I will get a brilliant tan, live in West Hollywood whilst my wonderful and talented boyfriend makes the biggest steps in his career so far.

This all feels like a big unbelievable dream that I am so lucky to be part of.

It’s so painfully obvious

When some of the girls I follow on here send themselves asks anonymously.

No one cares who you know/ who you fucked or how you know them.

People should take more pride in being themselves rather than being a ‘friend’ of a somebody.
